Terms and Conditions

Our Services are available to individuals and businesses located in the United States, subject to these Terms. You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including those governing the transport of freight, live animals, and hazardous materials.

You may not use our Services to ship or transport:

• Illegal goods, substances, or contraband of any kind
• Undeclared hazardous, flammable, or restricted materials
• Any item prohibited by U.S. Customs and Border Protection or equivalent international authorities
• Live animals without prior disclosure and approval through our pet relocation service

We reserve the right to refuse, inspect, or suspend any shipment or booking that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or applicable law.

Quotes provided through our website or by a coordinator are estimates based on the information provided at the time of request. Final pricing may be adjusted based on actual weight, dimensions, routing, or accessorial charges identified after booking.

Payment is due according to the terms specified on your invoice. We accept major credit cards, ACH bank transfer, and wire transfer; established business accounts may qualify for net-30 invoicing subject to credit approval. Late payments may be subject to a finance charge and suspension of future bookings until the account is brought current.

A booking is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from Transit Bridge Logistics, whether by email or through your account dashboard.

Transit Bridge Logistics maintains cargo liability insurance on shipments handled directly by our network, subject to the terms, conditions, and coverage limits of the applicable policy and any bill of lading or air waybill issued for your shipment. Coverage may be limited or excluded for items shipped without accurate declared value, improperly packaged goods, or perishable items beyond their stated shelf life.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Transit Bridge Logistics' liability for any claim arising from loss, damage, or delay is limited to the lesser of the declared value of the shipment or the applicable liability limits set forth in the governing transportation contract, bill of lading, or international convention (such as the Montreal Convention for air cargo or the Carriage of Goods by Sea Act for ocean freight).

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or business interruption, arising from the use of our Services.

Cancellations made prior to pickup or container loading may be subject to a cancellation fee depending on the service booked and how far in advance notice is given. Once cargo has been picked up, loaded, or a carrier has been dispatched, cancellation may not be possible without incurring the full cost of the booking.

Transit Bridge Logistics will make commercially reasonable efforts to meet estimated transit times, but transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated in a written service agreement. We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, customs holds, carrier disruptions, port congestion, mechanical failure, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about your shipment, including weight, dimensions, declared value, and any special handling requirements, at the time of booking. Inaccurate information may result in delays, additional charges, or refusal of the shipment.

For pet relocation services, you are responsible for ensuring your pet is fit to travel and that all required veterinary documentation, vaccinations, and permits are accurate and provided in a timely manner. Transit Bridge Logistics is not responsible for delays or denied entry resulting from incomplete or inaccurate documentation provided by the customer.

You agree to properly package and label all cargo in accordance with carrier and regulatory requirements, and to disclose any hazardous, fragile, or high-value items prior to shipment.

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Transit Bridge Logistics, LLC or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on our website without our prior written consent.

The Transit Bridge Logistics name and logo are trademarks of Transit Bridge Logistics, LLC. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks without separate written permission.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Nothing in this section limits the application of applicable federal transportation law, including regulations issued by the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Maritime Commission, or Federal Aviation Administration, where such laws govern the underlying carriage.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our Services after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
